NOAAPort Software

I am close to releasing software to receive the NOAAPort data stream, and to view it on Linux(R) and Windows(R) systems. Some source code may be made available for an extra fee. The satellite receiving software and the client data processing software will be sold separately. A combined single-user non-commercial license will probably go for $100 or less. Multiple clients can be connected to the same satellite receive site, if a sufficient license is purchased.

Data processing capabilities:

• NIDS (NEXRAD Level III) radial and raster data
• Lambert Conformal GINI data
• Polygon rendering capabilities (SPC outlooks, warning polygons, etc.)

The graphical frontend supports loop and zoom, and data selection by ICAO station identifier and AWIPS PID.
